SLK Champions Study Tour
As part of the Sustainability Leadership Kosovo Champions (SLK) program, participants completed a study tour to REKS Recycling Company and Prishtina International Airport, gaining first-hand insight into how leading organizations in Kosovo integrate sustainability into their core operations.
During the visits, participants explored the companies’ strategies and practical approaches in areas such as environmental management, waste recycling, occupational health and safety, gender equality and responsible corporate governance. The study tour provided a valuable opportunity to connect theoretical frameworks discussed during the training with real-world implementation.
At REKS Recycling Company, participants learned about circular economy practices, responsible waste management and environmental protection standards. The visit highlighted how private sector initiatives can directly contribute to reducing environmental impact while maintaining operational efficiency.
At Prishtina International Airport, discussions focused on sustainability strategy, environmental performance, health and safety systems and inclusive workplace policies. Participants were introduced to structured approaches for managing ESG priorities in complex operational environments.
This study tour marks the successful completion of another level of the Sustainability Leadership Training offered to members and supporters of Kosovo CSR Network in Prishtina. The program continues to strengthen sustainability leadership capacity within the private sector by combining strategic learning with practical exposure.
Kosovo CSR Network looks forward to organizing further SLK Champions trainings and expanding the community of business leaders committed to advancing sustainable development in Kosovo.
