PONDER Workshop Empowers Youth Through Media Literacy
Ten professional volunteer mentors from the Mentorship Scheme dedicated their weekend to empowering young participants during the PONDER workshop, a programme focused on strengthening critical thinking and media literacy skills.
Throughout the workshop, young participants were equipped with tools to analyze and critically examine both traditional and new media. The sessions encouraged independent thinking, responsible information consumption and greater awareness of how media shapes public opinion and social discourse.
Mentors worked closely with the groups, guiding discussions, supporting project development and fostering analytical skills necessary for navigating today’s digital and information landscape.
The Mentorship Scheme is implemented by Kosovo CSR Network and supported by the UNICEF Kosovo Programme. Through initiatives such as PONDER, the programme continues to build youth capacities and promote informed, active citizenship among young people in Kosovo.
