Kosovo CSR Network and UNICEF Cooperate for Youth Empowerment
Kosovo CSR Network and UNICEF signed a Memorandum of Understanding on August 2, 2018, to cooperate toward empowering youth and promoting volunteer work in Kosovo.
Through this agreement, both parties committed to exploring ways of involving the private sector in the progressive realization of children’s rights and to working jointly toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations.
The signing ceremony followed a meeting between the teams of Kosovo CSR Network and UNICEF and was formalized by Mr. Brandão Có, Head of UNICEF Office in Kosovo, and Ms. Linda Tahiri Rukiqi, Executive Director of Kosovo CSR Network.
The cooperation aims to support UNICEF’s mission in advancing children’s rights and youth empowerment, with a particular focus on investing in life and work skills for young people in Kosovo. By undertaking joint activities and engaging the private sector, the parties seek to contribute to the country’s long-term stability and prosperity.
