“Changing Minds: Trust through Innovation” – Belgrade
Kosovo CSR Network participated in the workshop “Working towards Sustainable Development: Green Policies as a Development Opportunity”, organized by Democracy for Development (D4D) in partnership with the Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence (BFPE), within the framework of the project “Changing Minds: Trust through Innovation”, supported by the European Commission Office in Belgrade.
The main objective of the project is to establish collaboration between groups with shared interests in Kosovo and Serbia. During the workshop, participants discussed environmental challenges and disadvantages faced by both countries, highlighting similarities in areas such as air pollution and public awareness.
Kosovo CSR Network also participated in the MIKSER Festival, an event dedicated to sustainable development and the circular economy as a new culture of living and doing business. The central part of the festival was the international SHIFT Conference, which brought together local and international experts working toward more sustainable solutions.
Discussions focused on joint actions and the importance of cross-border cooperation in addressing environmental pollution and promoting sustainable practices. The event provided an opportunity to explore potential partnerships between stakeholders from both countries and to strengthen dialogue on green policies as a development opportunity.
Participation in such regional initiatives reflects Kosovo CSR Network’s commitment to fostering cooperation and advancing sustainable development beyond national borders.
